France and Bayern Munich defender Willy Sagnol admits he had no choice other than to retire from football due to an Achilles injury.The Bayern full-back has been struggling with an Achilles tendon problem which various operations have failed to resolve, prompting him to throw in the towel and end his career at the age of 31.
